Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I'm busy, do I really have time for this?
A: Yes. Each session is just 30 minutes, 2-3 times per week. That's less than 90 minutes total - and it fits alongside your running.
Q: Do I need a gym or fancy equipment?
A: Nope. Most of the strength moves can be done at home with minimal gear. If you’ve got a resistance band or a couple dumbbells, you’re set. If you have a gym membership you can choose a program that includes more equipment.
Q: Will this work for me if I've tried before and failed?
A: 100%. This isn’t another random workout plan — it’s a structured, 12-week system designed specifically for runners over 45. Plus, you’ll have coaching + accountability to keep you consistent.
Q: What if I can't stay consistent?
A: That’s exactly why this program exists. The system is built for runners who’ve struggled with inconsistency in the past. The blueprint + accountability make it stick.
Q: What if I already run a lot - won't this interfere?
A: Nope. This plan is designed to complement your running — not replace it. The workouts are short, efficient, and built to support your miles.
Q: How much support will I get?
A: You’ll have weekly check-ins + group support inside a private coaching group.
Q: What if I'm injured right now?
A: If you’re dealing with an active injury, it’s best to get clearance from your doctor first. Once you’re cleared, this program is designed to help prevent re-injury and build pain-free strength.
Q: What if I've never done strength training?
A: I have programs suited to all experience levels so you're covered whether you're starting out or if you've been lifting weights for years.
Q: How is the training delivered?
A: You'll get access to an easy to use app with exercise videos, descriptions and more.

“
Prior to working with Curb, I had never done any significant strength training but he introduced me to a strength program which I enjoyed much more than I had expected, to the point that I actually looked forward to my non-running workouts, and that I will continue after the race is over.

I had thought my nutrition as an endurance athlete was pretty good but with Curb’s guidance, I have learned so much more regarding how to properly balance macros for fueling and recovery.
I have seen significant changes to my body composition, I have lost some weight and most importantly, I feel more energetic during my training.
